USDA-NRCS/USU Sage-Grouse Restoration Project
Mission Statement 

The USDA-NRCS/USU Sage-Grouse Restoration Project will seek to develop  and transfer technology to assist NRCS, SCDs, state wildlife agency field staff, and private landowners in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of conservation practices on private lands to benefit sage-grouse and other sagebrush-steppe obligate species.  We will do this by administering a grants-in-aid and technical review process to support  the design and implementation of research and demonstration projects that evaluate the effectiveness of 2002 Farm Bill conservation practices in restoring or enhancing sagebrush-steppe habitats on private lands.
