29 years in the Great Basin , including 7 years with University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, 6 years as a senior ecologist with an environmental consulting firm, 7 years as ecologist with the mining industry, and 9 years as research associate with University of Nevada , Reno.  

 

Previous research experience has addressed predator/prey relationships, wildlife/habitat interactions, and revegetation. 

 

Current educational and research programs include sustainable biodiversity/multiple use of rangelands, restoration of rangeland health, and collaborative resource stewardship.
